Meet The Team

Charlotte Mindham

After playing hockey for many years  (receiving many injuries! ) I decided to study sports injuries and fitness therapy. I have now been a qualified Sports Therapist since 2005.

My experiences have led me to have a strong belief in “pain relief without prescription”

I have worked with Torquay United Football Club since qualifying helping with First Team treatments alongside their Head Physiotherapist whilst growing my own mobile business.

In addition to Sports Therapy, I am a qualified practitioner in Hot Stone Therapy and a Hockey Coach working with both senior and junior players.

I have management and Health and Safety certificates and am always looking for a new challenge to expand my knowledge base.

Nick Rampton

Hi. I first discovered healing in my early thirties. I went to see a professional masseuse, who soon introduced me to a very deep and powerful breathing technique called  rebirthing breathing. This quickly lead to me having many incredible healing experiences, including deep catharsis, periods of ecstatic love and breakthrough understandings about myself, healing and life! Read More

The Therapy

Craniosacral therapy works to help release constrictions, tension, misalignment, and trauma from the fascia: the body’s connective tissue.

The fascia (or ‘facia’) tissue is the ‘glue’ that holds our bodies together. It directly holds together our skin, muscles, bones, organs, blood and nerve vessels, and sheaths all our muscle tissue. It is one continuous, interconnected structure throughout the body. It keeps us ‘whole’.

It is truly amazing in it’s ability to allow our bodies huge flexibility, whilst also having the strength to protect our most vital organs during a serious injury.

Nick Malyon

I have been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine for over 16 years, after a 4year Bachelor degree, later, a Master’s degree and six months spent in a hospital in Northern China.

In the UK the primary treatment of Chinese medicine is acupuncture. When needed, usually for joints and severe pain, I may use electro-acupuncture – acupuncture with an extra boost!

Herbal Medicine

For many years I used raw herbs but now I use a powdered form – much easier for the patient to take and no preparation. There is no limit to what can be treated with Chinese herbal medicine.

Other treatments

Depending on diagnosis some other treatments may be used such as, cupping, tui-na massage or acupuncture point warming techniques.

What can be treated with Chinese medicine?

Almost any condition can be treated with Chinese medicine. All pain and functional discomfort, any bodily system that is causing problems can be successfully treated.

Musculo-skeletal, gynaecological, infertility, chest, digestive, skin, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Ian Nicholls

My working background has been based predominantly around purchasing and asset management but for the past 10 or so years, and since spending many a relaxing week at Ragdale Hall, I have harboured the desire to leave the office environment behind me and move in to a spa-based role. Sports Massage Therapy was the ideal choice as I am also a keen keep-fit fanatic and knowing how the body works in conjunction with exercise seemed to be the perfect match.

I am a level 4 qualified therapist and my aim is to assist like-minded people in achieving their fitness goals, though that is not to say a “relaxing” deep tissue massage would not go amiss occasionally?
